Sony Xperia T3

Sony's latest smartphone is a slim smartphone with having a decent set of specs that the Sony Xperia T3.

The only problem that we anticipate is the price of this phone, as compared to other smartphones with similar specifications. We will try to review it in more detail to you whether Sony Xperia T3 has a suitability between quality and price offered.

Design And Appearance
Sony seems to be still pretty confident with the design Omnibalance on a smartphone, which was introduced with the Xperia Xperia Z. T3 follows the same principles but tweaked them a little to accommodate the material of the plastic back. A steel strip is along the edge of the phone and makes it look premium and classy. The back is usually pretty easy to hit the dust quite a concern with the glass back makes Sony's premium smartphone and look better. Sony Xperia T3 is available in three colors: black, purple and white.

With a thickness of only 7 mm Sony Xperia T3 might not be the thinnest smartphone Sony. His weight reached 148 grams evenly distributed and balanced. Then for the width is 77mm and the length of 150.7mm. The bezel around the 5.3-inch screen is quite thick, making the Xperia T3 looks great. However it turns out Sony Xperia T3 is actually quite comfortable to use. Unlike more expensive predecessor, the Xperia smartphone T3 is not waterproof or shockproof.

Sony has decided to put the Micro-USB port on the left edge of the device. On the right side was packed with a special camera shutter button, volume rocker, power button and a flap that hides the SIM card slot and microSD card. A 3.5mm jack is located at the top while the microphone is present at the bottom. The back of the non-removable contained camera with flash and a loudspeaker.

Specifications and Software
Sony Xperia T3 using a quad-core processor 400 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with Adreno 305 graphics processor is, and has 1GB of RAM. This phone has 8GB of internal storage and a microSD external memory card up to 32GB. A capacity of external memory is quite low considering there are cheaper smartphones with memory capacity up to 128 GB.

There is an 8 megapixel camera on the back complete with flash and 1.1 megapixel front camera. The rear camera can record video with Full HD 1080p quality while at the front can capture video up to 720p. In addition to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0, the Xperia T3 also supports NFC. Interestingly, 2,500 mAh battery usage that is quite large and durable when used.

5.3-inch screen has a resolution of 720p with a pixel density of 277ppi. The screen is sharp and well saturated colors thanks to the Mobile Bravia Engine 2, but the viewing angles are not as good as the glass is very reflective. In addition, the screen is too dim that brightness level should be raised to a high level.

This phone uses the Android operating system 4.4.2 KitKat. Software innate Sony very much like NeoReader, TrackID, Facebook, Smart Connect, Sony Select, What's New, TrackID TV, Walkman, Socialife News, File Commander, Video Unlimited, Office Suite, Support, Updates Centre, Xperia Lounge, Navigation by Garmin, Sketch and Pixlr Express and others.

Just what is essentially a content board offers information about new apps, games, music, TV shows and movies at Play Store. It is present in the home screen by default and looks good.

camera
Custom Software Sony cameras are very abundant include Superior Auto, Sweep Panorama Manual, Timeshift Burst, AR Effect, Social Live, Creative Portrait Effects and Retouch. As mentioned in the review Sony Xperia T2 Ultra, that the AR modes effect is to draw attention and looks cheap. In order to shoot in HDR we have to find the settings in Manual mode.

The pictures were taken by an 8-megapixel camera look good. T3 Xperia capture a lot of detail that is evident in the image of leaves on a tree. The colors are natural too. The only problem is that when the light is inadequate, making images look a little dull. While the photos were taken in HDR mode has amazing results and great HDR photos for uploading to social networking sites.

The camera is not good in low light conditions and the resulting images had a lot of blur. 1080p video have a strange problem - despite holding the phone steady and fairly quiet, captured video looks like choppy. We suspect it could be an over-excited vibration reduction Sony is working. 1.1 megapixel front camera is fine and can work for those times when you desperately need to selfie.

performance
Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 400 is performing well. In everyday use, the phone was usually experience lag. Applications opened and closed quickly, and we can easily trace the application drawer. This figure is slightly higher than what we have seen with other devices that are powered by the same processor. Xperia T3 19 924 and 10 324 scores on AnTuTu and Quadrant benchmark.

Playing games on the big screen much like people, unfortunately Adreno 305 GPU can only handle casual games like Temple Run and Angry Birds. When trying to play Shadowgun: Deadzone was experiencing lag during a firefight. The figures also prove this benchmark - a smartphone only has a score of 5823 and 11fps respectively on the test 3DMark Ice Storm and GFXbench.

Many video test on Xperia T3 and plays everything, including the most widely encoded 1080p clips without hassle. Speaker Sony Xperia T3 is one of the most loud and clear as well. Bundled earphones in-ear not good but the sound is quite loud. Although, the sound is much better with headphones.

Sony Xperia T3 has a good quality battery when tested. Speaking time course of nearly 15 hours. Then when in the stand-by state can reach more than 600 hours. This is quite reasonable because the battery capacity is large with non-removable Type Li-Ion 2500 mAh.
